A Brilliant Idea?

Instead of speculative Exxon shareholders, greedy executives, and corrupt politicians splitting the $45.2 billion dollar profit ExxonMobil raked in last year, I think the company should be forced to donate $10,000 to 4.5 million struggling artists. Think of all the art that might result...

A cultural stimulus plan!

The side benefit of this plan--or the main benefit, depending on your point of view--is that every dollar will actually be spent and, therefore, pumped directly into our flagging economy, as opposed to being hoarded in offshore bank accounts or cast into the ether when used to fund bad investments. Think of the revenue boom the computer, camera, food, airline, and whisky industries would experience!

So, please petition your congressman and remember--anything's possible.
